The University of Cape Town invites applications for the post of Director of the Children’s Institute (CI) at the level of Associate Professor or Professor.

The CI’s mission is to contribute to policies, laws and interventions that promote equality and improve the situation and well-being of all children in South Africa, through cross-disciplinary research, education, and advocacy.

The CI is a cross-disciplinary initiative located administratively in the Health Sciences faculty and governed by a cross-faculty Board. It conducts social, legal and economic research, which forms the basis for policy analysis and
development, and for strategic engagement with government and civil society.
